The new Trumpeter 1/48 A3D-2 Skywarrior is in stock. We received a limited number of this hot new kit, and most of them were spoken for before they arrived. We still have two on hand. It will probably be several more weeks before this kit is generally available in the U.S. The Skywarrior has been high on many 1/48 aircraft modeler's wish lists for a long time, and this is the first injection molded kit in scale of this classic Douglas workhorse.
Kit features scribed panel lines, and detailed cockpit, landing gear, and landing gear bays. The decal sheet has markings for one aircraft from VAH-9 as seen above. There will probably be several aftermarket options for the kit as well, but we haven't seen any announcements as of yet.
Act quickly if you want one of these kits now. We have very limited quantities on hand and the kits won't be available again for several weeks.
